Taking into account the reality we face in Brazil, we can point out that many people end up leaving their studies aside, especially high school, to work and help pay household expenses.
This situation is more common than one imagines in the country, and therefore, some projects were put into practice to try to reduce the rate of students who do not want to remain in high school, as is the case with the scholarship aid.

As we said, it is very common for young people to stop going to school, especially in high school, to work and help their parents with household expenses.
With that, the Ministry of Education saw that it would be very important to put some projects into practice to reduce that number and make people complete secondary education on a regular basis.
What was taken into account?
In meetings held, Camilo Santana, current minister of Education, brought the idea of implementing some public policies that aim to reduce the number of students who drop out of high school.
Many points were observed, from investments, availability of resources and demands that these projects need.
But are these investments really necessary to encourage students to stay in school and also to put some projects in practice, facilitating the learning process, such as offering tablets, improving the school environment and much more more.
The scholarship is part of the Ceará Educa Mais: Conectividade Program, whose objective is to bring more access so that students can remain in high school and are encouraged to do so.
Why is high school important?
If you're wondering if finishing high school is really important, know that yes, it plays a fundamental role in training new professionals and citizens.
This, which is the last phase of regular education, is a mandatory step for those who want to go to college, for example.
This is because, when applying for a scholarship or trying the entrance exam for public universities, proof of completion of high school is requested at the time of enrollment.
However, even if the individual does not want to go to college, completing high school is still important for insertion in the labor market, since this diploma is a prerequisite in selection processes for job vacancies and public tenders, for example.
With all this, it can be said that high school is a fundamental phase in anyone's life. Therefore, it demands effort and investments from the Public Power.
