Pelé, a former Brazilian player and football idol, left a will for the sharing of assets that includes the most important people: his six children, his wife and two grandchildren. During the asset sharing process, one more daughter of the former player can be included in the inheritance.
This information was disclosed by the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo, through an article by columnist Mônica Bergamo. The paternity claim was being processed before Pelé passed away. In the former player's will, it was written that the positive result would grant the woman the right to share the inheritance.

Pelé's daughter can be included in the inheritance
Pelé's lawyers were notified of the action and did not appeal the case, stating that the DNA test would be the most suitable for the moment. The intercurrence found was due to the fact that the former player did not undergo the examination to collect the material before his death.
Representing the father, Pelé's children can be submitted to the exam to confirm - or not - the paternity.
The case is being represented by the Public Defender's Office of Itaquera (SP) and remains under judicial secrecy.
Idol's mother is not in the will
Dona Celeste turned 100 years old a month before Pelé's death. Despite being her responsible financial provider, Pelé did not include his mother in her inheritance. Sister Maria Lúcia, who takes care of Dona Celeste full time, will not be entitled to the inheritance either.
Both live a humble life in Santos, even when Pelé was still alive. It is known that, therefore, the former player's family will be responsible for taking care of Dona Celeste and Maria Lúcia, mother and sister of the soccer idol.
