A 16-year-old teenager tragically lost her life while taking a shower. Identified as Maria Antonietta Cutillo, she took the cell phone she had been charging into the bathtub in order to continue the conversation she had with a friend. This naive decision brought the young woman's life to an abrupt halt.

Teenager from Italy lost his life tragically
The friend warned the emergency service that something could have happened and the concern soon set in. When firefighters arrived, they saw that Cutillo had died electrocuted by the short circuit that the device caused when it came into contact with water. The teenager's body was taken to the Avellino hospital so that specialists could perform an autopsy.
Local residents claim that the teenager's father is a well-known person in the capital Irpinia, as he owns a butcher shop in the city. The case, therefore, also gained notoriety on account of Cutillo's father. The police are still investigating the incident, which appears to be an accident.
Another similar case happened in 2020, when another teenager died electrocuted in the bath when his cell phone slipped and fell into the water. At the time, the victim of the fatality was recognized as Tiffen, who was a resident of Marseille. The cases are repeated, although the situation seems evident.
