An American made the difficult decision to quit her job in a very different way: she sent your former boss a resignation letter titled ''Exit Interview'' by Microsoft Power Point. Through a video that was shared on TikTok, Claire Zhu from North Carolina explained that she was already exhausted from her job.
So she got organized and prepared to clear her desk and join the 33 million Americans who quit their jobs since the beginning of the pandemic, in a movement that became known as '' Great Resignation''.

Having made the decision, she shared the dismissal Power Point presentation that she had made hours before and sent to the Human Resources Department on her social networks.
Her decision to resign via slides begins with the curtains opening with the title “My Exit Interview”. Afterwards, she presented a graph that showed how her mental health was being impacted as she stayed with the company.
She also highlighted a pie chart, in which she explained the reasons why she cried in the last year. The smallest part in blue is about work and everything else is also about work. And at the end of the presentation, she says: “I won’t be giving any more feedback as it won’t be heard anymore anyway.”

Claire admitted that one of the reasons for her resignation was her desire to go travel the world for a whole year with her boyfriend, Peter.
While they were working from home, the travel lover found a couple on YouTube who always share their vlogs about their travels, which inspired her to do the same. So, she ended up convincing her boyfriend to quit his job and go on a trip together.
To Claire's surprise, numerous netizens liked and supported the decision, and even requested a resignation template from her in Power Point. One netizen said, “This is perfect, no changes needed. Please send". A second even stated, "Can I please take this? My last day is 4, I need them to know they are the reason my therapist has all my money.”
