It is very common to see people claiming to have seen a loved one who has died, but the cases decrease a lot when there is proof of the “supposed” apparition. It all ends up generating a lot of buzz among people.
We have an example of this in the case of Lucy Watson, which happened in the United Kingdom. The story quickly became the talk of the town among the population. The widow lost her husband 2014; however, when scrolling through her Facebook feed recently, she came across a promotional video for a restaurant. Where is the problem?
The woman claims to have recognized her husband in the video at the same time! Upon recognizing it, the widow swore that the video in question was recorded more than ten years ago, however she soon discovered that the content was quite recent.
Widow's Testimony
"The moment I saw it, I thought, 'Oh my God, it's Harry. It was so instantaneous that I didn't even have to think. He would be eating a chicken korma, because that's all he's ever had. There is no doubt in my mind that he was my husband. I had to replay the video about 30 times and each time I was more and more confident” said the 59-year-old widow, who completes by bringing more characteristics about her late husband. “Harry was a big, distinguished man. He had white hair. I recognized the blue sweatshirt he was wearing. He's sitting there with his son Alex."
Intrigued by the video, Lucy decided to immediately get in touch with the restaurant that has been around since 1994 and whose menu focuses on Indian cuisine. She wanted to ask what date the video was recorded.
She sent the following message: “When is this footage from? My late husband and his son are in the first scene, and he died in 2014!”
Lucy was surprised by the response of the restaurant Indian. They stated that the record was from the previous week:
“Hi, Lucy. We are sorry to hear this, but this footage was recorded last week.”
