Mirrored mansion becomes 'invisible' in the landscape
After hiring architecture professional Tomas Orsinski, owners Chris and Roberta Hanley wanted the desert landscape to reflect in the mirrors and then make the house part of the scenery Natural.
The house is 510 square meters and occupies 27 hectares in an arid landscape. The rooms are super comfortable and have a sophisticated infrastructure. For those who are curious, the mansion is located in the Joshua Tree desert, in California, about 200 km from the city of Los Angeles.
After all, isn't the temperature inside the house unbearable?
Due to the Solarcool glass that was used in the construction, it filters the ultraviolet rays of the desert heat and, therefore, keeps the internal environment always cool.
In addition, the cover has a special construction. The roof is made of foam and has a solar energy system that offers the residence environmental sustainability.
What are the features of the house?
The mansion has three suites and all of them have an incredible view of the desert. The kitchen has a concrete floor and marble surfaces. In addition, there are also double ovens, freezer, refrigerator and high-end appliances. All of it is directed towards a view of nature outside.
Is your location within easy reach of downtown?
The home is 10 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree. Thus, residents can go out frequently and without major worries to busy areas with shopping infrastructure.
The desert area is part of Joshua Tree National Park. To rent the property, you must be willing to invest up to US$ 6,000 (R$ 13,000) per night.
