The extratropical cyclone is a phenomenon characterized by the formation of storms and intense wind gusts. It is common in mid-latitude regions and does not usually occur in tropical areas.
As the cyclone intensifies, it can cause changes in temperature, humidity, wind direction and atmospheric pressure resulting in stormy weather conditions, including rain, snow, and winds strong.
