Unemployment in the country continues to fall
The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released data with the PNAD Contínua, which indicate that unemployment in the country closed at 8.3% and should continue to fall until the end of this year.

The index presented a decrease of 8.7%, if compared to the previous quarter, reaching the best mark since the year 2015. Regarding the occupancy rate, which consists of people aged to work and who develop some type of activity, the increase was 0.4 percentage points, reaching 57.4%.
The underutilized population also had a drop, more precisely by 6.7% and is at approximately 22.7 million people, according to IBGE surveys.
On the numbers of workers with signed portfolio, there is also a trend towards growth. If compared to the quarter ended in July, the registered increase was 2.3%. In numbers of people, the result consists of 822 thousand new workers, reaching then the mark of 36.6 million.
In earnings, the usual real also showed growth and reached a rate of 2.9% compared to the previous quarter, with values of R$ 2,754.00. With regard to sectors, the highlight was the public area, with emphasis on statuary and the military.
Thus, the indices and sectors underwent increases. In many cases, the numbers were historical in relation to surveys carried out in previous years. The public sector reached the mark of 12.3 million people. The informality rate was lower by almost 1%, reaching 39 million citizens.
