According to government information, the implementation of the new CNH model will be carried out in stages. Therefore, if you are interested in the new model of the Driver's License, you will not need to change quickly, as the old one is still valid. Furthermore, it is worth informing that the new CNH will be issued, first of all, to drivers who need to renew their driver's license or for citizens who are obtaining a CNH for the first time turn.
Who can apply for a new CNH model?
As previously stated, switching from the old CNH model to the new one will not happen simply because of the changes. Therefore, you must respect the order of the steps, starting with the following scenarios:
- People who are renewing their CNH;
- When adding a category
- Exchange of the document due to data error;
- Receiving the first Driver's License;
- Request for the second copy of the document.
Thus, drivers who receive their first license after June, or who were rehabilitated, will receive the document already in the new model. Therefore, it will not be necessary to change the driver's license for those who already have a license or who are not included in the scenarios listed above. In the priority queue, candidates for the first license, as well as those who are renewing their documents, will be among the first to receive the new CNH model.
