ectomorph
The ectomorph is that classic biotype of the famous "skinny bad". That is, they are those very thin, tall people who have difficulties to gain weight. If you know someone with these characteristics, they fit perfectly as an ectomorph.
This is because these people usually have a very accelerated metabolism. In this way, they acquire a lot of difficulty to gain weight, since they burn calories easily. Furthermore, it can be seen that people in this category have very elongated bones and short shoulders.
mesomorph
In this category, people who find it easy to both gain weight and lose weight are usually identified. Because of this, it is common for them to need to be careful about food much more frequently.
Mesomorphs have a medium bone structure, as well as a more athletic appearance and stronger muscles. Given this, the individual of this profile usually obtains an intermediate metabolism, in addition to being able to acquire lean mass quite easily.
endomorph
Endomorphs are the direct opposite of ectomorphs, that is, their metabolism is much slower and, as a result, they have a much greater tendency to gain weight. So they usually increase body fat faster.
In addition, people of this type tend to have a much larger bone structure than other groups, and also wider. However, like the mesomorph, they have a certain facility for gaining muscle mass.
