The 29-year-old claims that she was at two marketing jobs that earned her $129,000 a year, but she has always been passionate about art, so she decided to drop one of them to dedicate herself to what she really loved to do. Female entrepreneurship took space. The decision was very assertive, as she currently works for just two hours a day and still manages to earn US$ 22,000 a month.

Young man dedicates two hours a day to art and earns a lot
In April 2020, the 29-year-old woman decided to quit one of her marketing jobs to dedicate to her true passion: art. She started her own business and opened a brand called DomoINK.
The name was thought of by herself, trying to make a joke with her name and with the materials she uses to make her works, which are made of chalk and markers. Shortly after, they are ready to be printed on anything.
To conquer her space, she needed to lose many nights of sleep, but it was all worth it. Currently, it partners with large companies, known worldwide, such as: Disney, Samsung, Lowe's and LA Lakers.
Her monthly income comes from her sales, which are made through her website and in stores. Those spaces could be hers, like Etsy and Society6, or retail stores like Target and Home Goods.
Creation process
The woman claims how difficult it was during her childhood to be a black girl, after all, she often she was the only one in the environments she frequented, so she had a lot of difficulties finding things that looked like she. Although her father tried to find cards with black families, representation was almost non-existent.
Cards of this type were not even sold in large stores.
Now she uses this desire to bring representativeness to her works, but she is always open to trying new things. An example of this is the contracts that are closed with Bleacher Report, where she had to design Hubert Davis, a UNC coach.
Income
Their arts vary in price. A sock can cost $18 while a painting is worth $5,000. Your growth and that of your brand happens organically so that you can save on ads. Its ultimate goal is to make DomoINK a major retailer and bring representation to people like it.
workload
Including Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the week, around ten hours are dedicated to the production of works. The young woman also uses an hour of that time to get on social media and engage the brand.
