The importance of morning habits
There are numerous benefits that are backed by science. Many previous surveys have already spoken about the importance of having a routine. By establishing one, it is possible to reduce stress, increase energy levels and improve productivity.
Having a routine can improve your life by 100%. You can start to have more enthusiasm, joy, disposition, cheer and more humor, positively influencing your productivity.
If, by any chance, you want to establish a good morning routine before going to work and you get lost and/or don't know where to start, try considering one of the three practices that are recommended by psychologists.
Here are three best practices.
set a goal
You may be starting your day the wrong way. Many people barely wake up and go look at emails, to-do lists and among other things.
However, ideally, you take a few minutes to do a light meditation and choose a word that will define your day. Setting a goal in the morning can help you align and stay focused on your priorities.
Choose a ritual and fulfill it
Try to disconnect from the screen. Staying on your computer or cell phone when you wake up can activate your stress response. Find an activity that keeps you focused, such as reading, writing, walking, or meditating.
Make your mornings fun
Try to do light and fun things. Releasing endorphins first thing in the morning can be very good for the rest of your day.
