Japanese company imposes time restriction and reaps benefits

During a press conference, the company's CEO, David Zaslav, stated that he is excited about the merge of the contents and that they will be presented on an improved platform.

At the same event, the head of streaming at Warner-Discovery, Jean-Briac Perrette, stressed the importance of removing the name “HBO” from the product, in order to contemplate the new identity of streaming.

“This new branding signals an important shift from two more restricted products, HBO Max and discovery+, for our broader content offer and consumer proposal. While each product offers something for some people, Max will have a wide range of quality options for everyone.”
