In addition to dinner, the day for these seniors began at 6:18 am, with a light breakfast rich in fruit and fiber. Lunch, considered by them the most important meal of the day, was around 12:38 pm.
In addition, the similarity between meal time and type of food also repeated a pattern: 95% of them claimed to eat a lot of food prepared at home and with limited consumption of products industrialized. Fish was also a highly consumed food by them in their daily lives, even repeating it twice in the meals of the week. Along with this, cereals, fruits and vegetables are highly recommended due to their high levels of minerals, nutrients, vitamins and fibers.
