The tea recipe is very simple, however its flavor is wonderful. Its preparation time is 10 minutes and can yield up to 4 servings. Check it out below!

For this recipe you will need:

Ingredients:

  • The peel of 1 pineapple;
  • 1.5 liters of water;
  • 3 mint tea bags;
  • Honey to taste to sweeten.

Method of preparation:

1. First, with the help of a cleaning brush, wash the pineapple skin well under running water.

2. Once this is done, take a cutting board, peel the pineapple and store the pulp in the fridge in a well-sealed container. Soon after, cut the peel into large pieces and place in a medium pot with a lid.

3. In that pan, cover the peels with water and lead to high fire. As soon as it boils, reduce the heat to medium and let it cook for about 40 minutes, with the lid ajar.

4. After 40 minutes, turn off the heat and add the mint bags to the pan. Finally, cover the container and let it infuse for 5 minutes. Soon after, strain the tea and sweeten it with honey to taste.

5. If you prefer, pour the liquid into a kettle and serve!
