Step One: Vacuum Your Chair
All deeper processes will do little good if you don't do the basics, which is to remove the most visible dirt. For this, you can count on the best option, which is the vacuum cleaner, especially those that have finer nozzles for upholstery entrances. If you don't have a vacuum cleaner, you can always use a good old brush. In that case, pass the brush still dry to remove only superficial dust.
Second step: Mixing water and detergent
Now we will proceed to whiten the upholstery and remove more persistent dirt that can change the color of the upholstery or leather. Just mix a little water and liquid detergent in a spray bottle and make light applications over the entire chair. Then, go back with the brush and clean using continuous circular motions. Then apply a damp cloth with just water to remove excess soap.
Step Three: Remove the Stains
Finally, let's work on the most persistent stains, such as those resulting from coffee, spilled drinks in general or even sweat. In that case, we recommend a super mix of two tablespoons of white vinegar, one tablespoon of baking soda and 350ml of water.
Mix the ingredients and take it again to the sprayer to apply in a similar way. However, do not scrub, but instead apply the product and let it act for at least 20 minutes. Finally, come back with the damp cloth to remove all excess mixture and take the chair to the sun, where it should remain until it dries completely.
