The year 2022 promises to be a good year for twenty-nine-year-old Vitail Khroniuk as he manages to fulfill his dream of marrying the love of his life. However, he didn't get much time out of his first year of marriage to Anna Sokurenko, as he had to go and fight in the war with Russia.

In the following months, Vitil was already on the front line of the war where he lived with the chance of dying in the combat. According to him, this was enough for him to reflect on what he had done with his life and what he would be leaving behind in the event of his death. It was then that he realized that he would need to secure his lineage through a son.

However, with the War, the dynamics of having a child with his wife became very complicated, so that he had to go to a clinic to freeze his sperm. In an interview, Vitail and Anna say that this was a difficult decision, as it involved preparing for a possible death. However, both opted for the guarantee of an heir.

This attitude was not unique to Vitail and Anna, on the contrary, as many Ukrainian men opted for the same procedure.
