Fertilizer for succulents with one ingredient
Some examples of succulent plants are the cactus and the aloe vera, which conserve water inside their leaves. However, despite this illustrious ability, succulents also need nutrients to survive.
So, a simple way to provide essential elements and make your succulent healthy is by using eggshells. This material manages to reduce soil acidity, has calcium, potassium and magnesium and makes your plant stronger.
How to make fertilizer for succulents with eggshells?
You will need to make a kind of flour with the eggshells to make it easier for the soil to absorb. In this way, start by gathering all the peels you use at home and remember to put them in the sun to dry.
When you notice that you have reached a good amount of eggshells, it is time to prepare the fertilizer. Do not use your hands to crush the peels as the pieces are too large, making fertilization difficult. Then take a blender, pour all the material into the container and blend until it becomes a type of farofa.
Remove the eggshell flour from the blender and apply it to the soil where the succulents are planted. If your plant's pot is small, 1 tablespoon of flour is enough. If the vase is larger, add the fertilizer proportionally to the size of the container.
Repeat the procedure every 15 days and always water the plant when finished. Pretty simple, isn't it?
