Lencois Maranhenses National Park

Entering the eleventh position on the list, the park is made up of white dunes and natural pools that were described by the newspaper as “supernatural”. To enjoy the region, trips are made in 4×4 vehicles, passing through the dunes and entering an exciting adventure where it is possible to contemplate the natural beauty of this place.

For those looking for leisure, rest and relaxation, the park is the perfect choice, but be prepared for the heat, because the place has very few places with shade, there are few trees and plenty of sun during the day. Best time to visit is in September because of its main lagoon, which is the perfect size at this time.

Manaus

The capital of Amazonas occupied the forty-first position in the ranking. Manaus is on the list because of its natural beauty and the local gastronomic experiences. The Amazonian ingredients used in the local cuisine have drawn attention for being unusual for many, but still very delicious.

One of the highlights in the newspaper was given to the Biatuwi indigenous restaurant, which has a Michelin star, the highest culinary award among restaurants. He brings together dishes with typical ingredients from the Amazon, such as ants, lemongrass and ribs from Tambaqui.
