Check out the biggest case French fries of the world found in Wales by a 9-year-old boy:
potatoes
Archie Davies, a 9-year-old Welshman, after accompanying his parents to a supermarket chain in his country, Asda, took a package of frozen french fries and for the family to make for dinner that night. While preparing the potatoes, the boy noticed that there was a potato bigger than the others inside the package. After frying them, intrigued, he showed the food to his parents, who made sure to measure its size and could see that it was over 20 cm.
Curious to know if this could be a world record, the boy's family looked in the "Guinness Book" and saw that the record was exactly 22.3 cm. So they took a measuring tape to accurately measure the boy's potato. And there was the new record for the biggest potato. At training, Archie's potato was 22.86 cm. As a result, he decided to name the potato Geoff.
“He was really excited when we found her. We reached out to the Guinness Book of Records to find out if it could really be a world record, as we think the last record was 22.3 cm," said Laura, Archie's mother.
“Archie loves learning all about world records. He said that absolutely no one is allowed to touch it (on Geoff) for now and he doesn't know if we'll ever get it ready. I think Archie would love to be famous because of it,” she added.
