Ingredients
You will need to have the following ingredients at home to prepare this recipe:
- 1 large carrot;
- 1/2 kg of wing coxinha;
- 1 tablespoon (soup) oil;
- 1 onion;
- 1 tablet of chicken broth;
- 1 and 1/2 liter of boiling water;
- 4 cloves of garlic;
- 1/2 cup of rice;
- Parsley to taste.
Method of preparation
The first step in making rice soup is making sure your chicken is well seasoned. In that sense, you can use salt and other seasonings that you prefer to pass on all the chicken pieces.
So, in a pan, add the following ingredients to sauté: onion, oil, chicken and chicken broth. After letting it fry for a few minutes, until the onion is golden brown, add the boiling water.
After 5 minutes, you should add the rice and carrots and let all the ingredients cook for about 20 minutes over low heat. This step is important for you to check if the salt is to your liking to add more if necessary.
After that time, you must remove the lid from the pan and put the chopped parsley and wait another 5 minutes. That way, your rice and chicken soup will be ready to be savored and will help to strengthen the immune system of whoever tastes it.
