How to plant the Sicilian lemon tree

When planting Sicilian lemon seedlings, you will need to observe some precautions, such as choosing a good substrate. That's because this substrate will need to be well fertilized and preferably with mature manure, which should be well mixed with the earth. And after preparing the substrate, you must dig a deep hole, as the roots will need space to develop and ensure that the plant has support to grow.

Also, choose spring to plant seedlings or seeds, as this is the best time for the plant to take root. Even when choosing to plant the seeds, make sure the substrate is very humid, but not soaked. And also in the case of using seeds, after planting them, leave the substrate away from direct sunlight, as at that moment it could burn the plant at birth.

watering

Sicilian lemon comes from a plant that has hotter and arid climates as its natural habitat, and therefore will require a lot of water. With this, watering must be constant, avoiding, at all costs, leaving the soil dry, as this would cause your plant to die.

So water daily or whenever necessary, without letting the earth get soaked. Water mainly in fruiting season. And as the Sicilian lemon blooms several times a year, providing fruit in all seasons, be careful to avoid dry land.

Following these tips, your Sicilian lemon tree will grow more and more and it will look beautiful!
