Frikar details

The Frikar has four wheels, is closed and similar to a conventional car, but is very small, so there is only room for one person. In this way, it is 2.3 meters long, 84 centimeters high, has a sunroof, trunk, adjustable seat and has pedals, just like those on a bicycle.

Thus, the pedals are associated with an electric generator, located at the back of the vehicle. So, the Frikar is able to move through the effort placed on the pedals, in a similar way to conventional bicycles.

However, the difference is that the Frikar has three motors, one of which is connected to the pedals and the other two provide impulse to increase the car's agility. Therefore, the vehicle can reach up to 60 km/h, but this speed depends on several factors, such as the slope of the territory.

Furthermore, the car is already a success in Europe and fits into the electric bicycle category. Therefore, it is not necessary to have a National Driver's License (CNH) to drive the vehicle.

Manufacturers of Frikar: Podbike

Podbike is the Norwegian company that developed the Frikar, which totaled around 20 million reais in pre-sale orders for the vehicle in 2021. The average price of this car is 6,429 euros, which is equivalent to more or less 40 thousand reais here in Brazil.

Despite the start of deliveries being scheduled only for 2023, Podbike ended up bringing the deadline forward due to the high demand. Finally, the manufacturer ensures that the feeling of driving a Frikar is similar to driving an electric car.

So, now that we've introduced why we want you to experience the Frikar automobile, follow along school education blog and have access to several other materials, curiosities and news from all over Brazil!
