This Tuesday (21), Microsoft made available the functionality to generate images through Artificial Intelligence in Bing. To this end, the platform is using a "sophisticated edition" of Dall-E, from OpenAI, in order to improve the experience provided by the company's search engine.
Despite the implemented improvements, some of the interface features, such as buttons and design, remain similar to previous versions.

This update to Bill Gates' company search engine will be gradually rolled out to users, with its usage being restricted to Edge and Bing Chat browsers as long as AI chatbot creative mode is enabled activated.
If those interested in the tool do not wish to resort to these options, it is possible to access the Image Creator through the service link. If the feature is not available on your Microsoft Edge or Bing Chat, just wait for the update.
For now, no Portuguese
Bing's image creation feature can only be used using English commands. However, this limitation will not be permanent, as Microsoft plans to provide support for other languages in the near future.
Currently, if someone tries to request anything in Portuguese, a message will appear stating that the Artificial Intelligence is only able to understand the English language.
The news in Microsoft's AI systems arrived just days after the release of GPT-4, the technology behind the intuitive language model used by ChatGPT and Bing Chat itself.
How it works?
- When accessing bing search bar, describe the image you want;
- For example: “I want a photo of a dog hugging a cat wearing a wig”, but currently the platform only accepts the command in English;
- In moments, your image will appear;
Each figure produced by the algorithm is unique, exclusive and copyright free. This implies that you have complete freedom to use it wherever and however you like, without limitations.
