One of the most requested suggestions by Internet users is a “do not disturb” mode. That is, it would be an efficient way to inform contacts that you are currently unavailable. The simple status update doesn't seem to be very useful on this character.

This proposal gains strength as the way of using the tool advances. Today, WhatsApp is used for work, leisure, billing, business and personal purposes.

Function was present on MSN

Status updating seemed to be more efficient in the not-too-distant past. Those who are over 30 must remember the old MSN Messenger or even ICQ. It was easier to let users know when you were busy, away, listening to music, working, or available to chat.

It seems that this function has returned to be a demand of the new generations. The use of technologies filling the daily lives of Brazilians needs tools to allow a break.

Apple already has a similar tool

In this sense, Apple itself has already implemented the “do not disturb” mode in its devices. The technology will come standard on upcoming versions of iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

The new "Apple" tool will allow the user to choose active and blocked applications. Thus, the blocked ones will be unavailable for use and notifications, while the active ones remain normally in operation. The user will be able to easily switch modes for each app.

Furthermore, it will be possible enable people who can talk to the user at that time. Likewise, it will also be possible to block some contacts from your list momentarily.

The sender of the message will know that they sent the text through iMassage, for example. However, he will be informed that the recipient does not wish to be disturbed. This happens when the app's “do not disturb” mode is turned on.

According to Apple, it will now be easier for developers to create similar solutions. In other words, WhatsApp has never been closer to joining the “do not disturb” fad.

After all, no one else can handle being available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The pandemic has shown how draining new technologies can be. A dosage is needed in order to facilitate health.
