- Authentic – The account must be from a real person, entity or registered company;

- Complete – The account must be public, have a biography, profile picture, at least one post, and have no links or other social media services;
- Notable – The account must be popular, famous or highly searched for people, brands or entities.
In addition to its requirements, Instagram may withdraw your badge if one of the following situations occurs:
- Announcement, transfer or sale of the seal of authenticity;
- Use of profile picture, bio or name to promote other services;
- Attempting to verify your account through a third party.

1- In the Instagram app, tap your profile icon;
2- In this tab, tap on the icon represented by “three lines” and go to “Settings”. Click on “Account” and go to “Request verification”;
