This is the 11th Prix Photo Alliance Française, which is a very important national photography award and registration is open until June 23rd. The tender proposal – What do you need to know?
As mentioned, this year's edition has the theme Dreams and is a proposal for exploring the multiple meanings of dreams. According to Quentin Richard, cultural director of the French Alliance, the idea of the event is to value original artistic productions, whether abstract or documentary.
For the director, the idea is to show different perspectives on the themes addressed and which are a kind of echo of the great issues of our time. Therefore, the expectation is that very interesting and meaningful works will emerge.
Dreams as a power of transformation
The organization of the event believes that dreams can represent a power capable of contributing to personal and social transformation, at this time when we are trying to visualize the future post pandemic.
Information about enrollment
Subscriptions do not require any payment. Interested candidates can apply at the event website until 6 pm on June 23, 2022. First, you must register on the site and then you will need to upload ten photos.
The organizing committee will verify the images, and the portfolios considered suitable will be added to the website's virtual gallery. The published photos will be available for popular voting by the jury from the 27th of June and the voting will be closed on the 26th of July. As for the results, they will be released between the 27th of July and the 5th of August.

The winner of first place will travel to France, where he will be able to participate in professional meetings, in partnership with Réseau Diagonal and with an Air France ticket. In addition, the winning portfolio will be published in the magazine L’Oeil de la Photographie.
The runner-up will be able to participate in an artistic residency held in Rio de Janeiro, thanks to a partnership with Ateliê Oriente, while the third place will receive professional mentoring at a distance, also in partnership with Ateliê Oriente.
