Pearl, the chihuahua that entered the record books as the smallest dog in the world
Born on September 1, 2020, the North American chihuahua Pearl arrived in the world showing that she would go down in history. Already at her birth, it was possible to notice that she was a somewhat special animal.
Pearl came into the world weighing just under 28 grams, and that was already a great indication that she wouldn't grow much.
Pearl Measurements
Today, Pearl is 12.7 cm long and an incredible 9.14 cm tall. She is incredibly small, and that made her enter the Guinness World Records, the famous book of records.
To get an idea of the size of the little dog Pearl, even a pencil and a pen have greater heights, since most of them reach 10 cm.
In fact, Pearl was compared to a 1 US dollar bill and managed to lose, since the bill is 15.59 cm long, surpassing the almost 13 cm of the mini chihuahua.
Incidentally, even a 5 reais banknote is longer, measuring 12.8 centimeters.

In a talent show in Italy, in the city of Milan, known as Lo Show Dei Record, the world met the precious little Pearl.
