Your brain can work even better

Check out now how Vitamin D can help your brain work better and what benefits it can generate for your cognitive performance.

Vitamin D

Essential for the proper functioning of the body, Vitamin D boosts immunity and helps in bone health.

However, a study carried out in the USA shows evidence that high levels of Vitamin D in brain tissue can improve cognitive performance.

The researchers looked for nutrients in four brain regions, two of which are associated with Alzheimer's disease, the other from blood flow dementia, and the last unrelated to the two problems.

In view of this study, it was identified that individuals with a higher level of Vitamin D had better brain functions before dying than individuals with low levels.

How to get Vitamin D

Our body produces Vitamin D naturally, that is, through exposure to solar radiation. The period of 20 minutes a day, preferably during the early morning, is the most suitable to receive this radiation.

However, in the face of the day-to-day rush, many people cannot be available in that short period, for this reason, there is a prevalence of 40% to 60% of people with Vitamin D deficiency.

And in these cases, it is necessary to supplement this vitamin with Vitamin D3.

To know the vitamin levels and the amount to be supplemented, blood tests should be performed and a doctor should be consulted for a better assessment of the condition.
