New Brazil Aid cards
This current delivery has some changes. In addition to contemplating more people, the card was also updated.
Who will receive the new cards?
First, this new shipment of cards will be aimed at people who joined the program as of November 2021. In addition to guaranteeing a basic income, the program encourages the emancipation of these families so that they can achieve independence and, therefore, overcome situations of social vulnerability.
By when will the cards be delivered?
Since July, Correios has been delivering the new cards, and it is estimated that more than 500,000 units will still be delivered in the next few days. Fortunately, the amount that has already been sent (6.1 million) shows us that people who used the old version are already up to date. In total, there will be 6.6 million units dispensed, which may be increased later.
What is the value of the benefit?
The new value is BRL 600.00 for the months of August to December 2022. This adjustment was accompanied by the Gas Allowance, which will go from R$53.00 to R$112.00 bimonthly, in addition to the implementation of the Truck Driver and Taxi Driver Allowance of R$1,000.00 for professionals in these categories.
What's new?
In addition to its new look, the product brought a great novelty compared to its old version: a chip. To support its implementation, the new technology makes it possible to make purchases using the debit function. With this, the user does not need to withdraw the money before making his monthly purchases.
