First make the dough
First, to make your pie crust, you will need the following ingredients:
- 120 grams of wheat flour;
- 120 grams of corn starch;
- 2 eggs, but if they are small use 3;
- 360 ml of milk;
- 120 ml of oil;
- 1 tablespoon baking powder;
- 1 pinch of salt;
- Butter.
So, after separating the ingredients from the dough, throw everything in a blender or processor and turn on the appliance. Let it beat until the mass is homogeneous. Afterwards, grease the baking dish that you will use to bake in the oven, preferably one that is 20×30 cm if it is rectangular, or if it is round, 30 cm in diameter. Finally, throw half the dough into the pan and proceed to make the filling.
Time to prepare the stuffing and bake
Before you start making the filling, you can already turn on the oven so that it is preheated when you put the pie in. Once this is done, take the ingredients that you are going to use, which are the following:
- 1 can of drained tuna;
- 1 tomato cut into small pieces;
- 1 cup of fresh or frozen peas. But calm down, use the peas only if you like them! If not, you can remove them from the recipe;
- cut a piece of mozzarella into small cubes and use half a cup of these cubes in your stuffing;
- 1/2 cup onion cut into very small pieces;
- oregano to taste;
- salt to taste;
- green smell (onion with parsley or cilantro) to taste;
- 1 tablespoon olive oil.
With everything in hand, take a bowl and mix all the ingredients above. Then, with the dough already placed in the pan, pour the filling and use the other half of the dough to cover it.
Now just put the pie to bake for 30 minutes in medium oven. To know if it's ready, just watch until the dough is golden and that's it, just serve and enjoy this recipe!
