O procon-RJ (Rio de Janeiro Consumer Defense Service) announced this Monday (18) a task force that proposes to facilitate the payment of defaults between consumers and companies, promoting the event with the purpose of renegotiating outstanding debts in the sector.
In the previous campaign, the agency was able to offer readjustments of up to 99% in discounts on initial debt amounts. Check out the main companies that will be participating in the initiative:

Thus, for those willing to renegotiate their debts, Procon-RJ promises to withdraw the name of the defaulting consumer of credit protection services shortly after payment of the 1st installment of the new agreement.
You can go to the Procon headquarters, located at Avenida Rio Branco, 25, fifth floor, in downtown Rio, to personally negotiate the debts. The Mutirão, for now, is only available for the state of Rio de Janeiro and the campaign will last until August 5th. It is necessary, in order to carry out the negotiation, to carry official documents in hand, relating to the interested party and the respective debt.

Week 1: Negotiation of defaults related to Financial Institutions (Banco do Brasil, Caixa Econômica Federal, Bradesco, Santander, Itaú and BMG.)
Week 2: Negotiation of defaults related to public service concessionaires (Naturgy, Light, Cedae, West Zone, Enel, Águas do Brasil Group (Juturnaíba and Niterói), Águas do Rio and Iguá)
Week 3: Negotiation of defaults related to telephony, cable TV and internet. (Hi, Sure, Tim and Vivo)
