How to prepare dessert
An ice cream that has popcorn as a base seems crazy, doesn't it? After all, who would have thought to prepare a food that is traditionally sweet with an ingredient that has always been used as a savory snack? This is really a recipe that may surprise you and leave you speechless with the unexpected taste of the result.
It's a simple preparation, so you don't have to go out of your way to acquire all the items. In fact, they are elements that you can easily have at home, so you won't have to spend an extra dollar to create this dessert. In addition, just using the blender or processor already solves the issue in a few minutes.
Step by step
Before starting the recipe, it is essential that you know how to make popcorn. With that, the popcorn machine can be an advantage! But don't worry, popping a little popcorn in the pan also works, as it comes out very well done and tasty just the same. We just say that you need to be careful about the way you have been storing the corn, as it is super important that the grain does not lose moisture.
The following ingredients are needed:
- 700 ml of milk;
- 1 spoon full of margarine;
- 1 cup (tea) powdered milk;
- Half a cup of corn;
- 1 cup (tea) sugar;
- 2 spoons full of sugar;
- 400 g of sour cream.
The first step is the most basic, that is, popping the popcorn. When it's done, take the amount to the blender. Add and proceed to add the milk and margarine. Ready? Now beat for approximately three minutes so that everything is well shredded.
After that, sieve the mixture and throw away the bagasse. Add the powdered milk and a cup of sugar to the liquid, then bring everything to medium heat for five minutes. Done that, hang up and book. In a blender or mixer, place the very cold cream with two tablespoons of sugar and beat well.
When you reach the chantilly point, you can stop. Add this whipped cream to the cream that was cooling down. After mixing well, take it to the freezer in a container with a lid. A few hours later your ice cream will be ready.
