  • 400 grams of lean, fat-free steak. You can use filet mignon or rump;
  • 1 egg – Dilute the food in a glass with a little water;
  • ¼ cup of unleavened wheat flour;
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or panko; If the amount is little, add more until you can bread;
  • Salt;
  • Pepper (optional);
  • 1 spoon (coffee) of paprika (dye).

Method of preparation

  • Make cuts in the meat in the shape of a steak, with about 100 grams each;
  • Then place the steaks on the surface of a meat board and, with the help of the batter, give light beats until they are thin and uniform;
  • Season the meat with salt, black pepper, paprika and other ingredients to taste;
  • At that moment, preheat the oven to a temperature of 220°C;
  • Separate three bowls and, in each of them, add the flour, the egg beaten with salt and pepper, and the breadcrumbs or panko mixed with the paprika;
  • Then pass the steak in the bowl with wheat flour, then in the beaten egg and finally in the breadcrumbs or panko;
  • Transfer the breaded steaks to a greased baking dish;
  • With olive oil or vegetable oil, make quick, zigzag movements to lightly grease the steaks;
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. In half the time, you can open the oven and turn the steaks to bake completely.
  • When they are ready, transfer them to a plate with a paper towel and they are ready to eat.

You can eat it with salads, brown rice or pumpkin puree.
