Tapioca bread recipe
Ingredients:
- 150 ml of whole or skimmed milk;
- 3 cups full of tapioca gum;
- 1 egg;
- Cheese to taste;
- 1 tablespoon of butter;
- 1 very shallow spoon of salt coffee;
- Oregano to taste.
Method of preparation:
First important step: you need to preheat the oven before starting to prepare the dough. So, first of all, turn it on at 200ºC. Done that, in a large roast, pour all the tapioca gum and spread it well through the shape. Put the pan in the oven for 15 minutes.
This is important so that the gum dries a lot, and so it can have a better texture for the dough. When it's dry, remove from the oven and wait to cool down. It will be super crispy, so in a deep container, crumble all this baked gum.
Then add the milk, salt, margarine and egg. With your own hands, keep mixing all the ingredients until you acquire a very homogeneous mass consistency.
Once this happens, it is already possible to make the balls for the bun. Stuff them with cheese and oregano, according to your taste, and then close the balls. Once this is done, your buns will be ready to bake.
So, just take them to a sandwich maker for 8-10 minutes, and your buns will be ready. You can also bake them in the oven, if that's your preference. Afterwards, just enjoy their delicious warm breads for breakfast.
