Card with QR Code will integrate benefits for retirees and pensioners

Carlos Lupi, current minister of social Security, announced that a card dedicated to unifying social benefits will be launched in March. The new card will be called Beneficiary Card and should provide resources for free tickets by bus and subway, discounts at pharmacies and trips, intended only for retirees and pensioners. According to Lupi, the card will have a QR Code which will be available to the 37.5 million pension beneficiaries throughout Brazil.
