Of all the innovations, the one that drew the most attention was the launch of foldable cell phone from the company. It will be the first model to be launched by them. What will Google's foldable phone look like?
The company showed the public its first prototype of a folding cell phone. This is the Pixel Fold, which will cost US$ 1,799 (R$ 8,904.33 at the current price). Pre-orders have now opened. We still don't have a release date in Brazil.
According to the company, it is the thinnest folding cell phone on the market. Among its features is an external screen of 5.8 inches and it increases in tablet mode to 7.6 inches.
Jumping to its camera, its main one has 47 megapixels of resolution. It also has a 10.8 megapixel ultrawide and a telephoto lens of the same quality. Additionally, the device will feature “Split View” which allows users to use multiple apps at the same time.
It will compete with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4 and other models from Chinese brands Oppo, Xiaomi and Huawei.
Gmail will have generative artificial intelligence feature
Gmail, the company's e-mail, will gain a function aimed at helping users when writing e-mails. The feature is called “Help me Write” and will be available in the Workspace service. As the name implies, the interested party enters a request and the tool will start providing responses to create a more accurate email.

Google is working on improvements to its chatbot artificial intelligenceBard. As a result, Google is opening up access to the public, launching it in over 180 countries. Additionally, Google ported Bard to its new language model, PaLM 2.
Like OpenAI's GPT-4, both are trained on reams of data and text and are more accurate in responses and commands. Users will also be able to request images.
Android will feature generative AI technology for custom wallpapers
Still in the same event, it was announced that eventually the Android phones will receive a technology of Google's generative AI capable of generating custom wallpapers based on requests and suggestions. The product is expected to arrive this fall.
