The best plain cake!

For many people, a simple cake like this is a great memory of a loved one or an unforgettable moment. After all, traditional cakes, with just the basics of ingredients and no fillings, are a real treasure. However, many people do not believe that the preparation is difficult.

This statement is a myth, because with just a few steps we can have a very tasty cake that will remind you of the one your grandmother used to make. To prepare it, we will use the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup (cottage cheese) of cornmeal;
  • 1 glass (cottage cheese) of milk;
  • 1 glass (cottage cheese) of wheat flour;
  • 1 glass (cottage cheese) of sugar;
  • 1 glass (cottage cheese) of oil;
  • 4 medium eggs;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • 1 tablespoon (soup) baking powder for cakes.

Cake preparation 5 cups

To make this cake we will only need a blender, which will be where we will make the mixtures. In addition, the measurements of the ingredients will serve to fill in a form of central hole measuring 20 x 9 cm. Now, pay attention to the step by step so you don't miss any step:

  • Add the eggs, oil, sugar, milk, wheat flour and cornmeal to the blender. So, beat all these ingredients until it forms a homogeneous mass;
  • Soon after, add the pinch of salt and the baking powder and mix in the dough with the help of a spoon;
  • Then, pour the dough into the mold already greased with flour and butter or margarine and place in a preheated oven over medium heat.
  • Finally, let the dough cook for about 45 minutes, or long enough for the cake to rise and turn golden. Then you can take it out, unmold it and serve!
