Does a higher IQ mean a higher salary? Research says no!

Usually, it is common for people to think that the smarter someone is, the greater the chance of being successful in life. However, although intelligent people have more developed cognition, the relationship between IQ and income in certain cases may not follow this paradigm.

Recently, research revealed that people with an above-average income are not necessarily those with the highest IQ.

To answer that question, Dr. Marc Keuschnigg conducted a study that gathered financial data from 59,000 Swedish army personnel, specifically recruits.

The study revealed that those considered less intelligent, those with a lower IQ than the most intelligent, received slightly better wages.
