How to make organic fertilizer

  • Fertilizer with eggshells

Eggshells are rich in calcium, which will help a lot in plant growth, especially the development of healthy roots. So instead of throwing those peels away, reuse them! And to do this is very easy. Just put the peels to dry outdoors and then grind in the blender.

So, make sure the skins are completely dry when you reuse them. And with the powder that remained after crushing the peels, mix it with the substrate of the plants. You don't need to exaggerate much, just one gram for each liter of substrate.

  • vegetable peelings

To make compost from vegetable peelings, the process will be similar to that of eggshells. Let the peels dry and then grind them in a blender. Therefore, you can use potato, carrot, beet or even fruit peels, such as banana peels. The important thing is that you grind the dry peels until they become a fine powder that you will have to mix in the measure of one gram for each liter of substrate.

  • Coffee grounds

Coffee grounds are a substance rich in potassium, nitrogen and phosphorus, which makes it an excellent fertilizer for little plants. And, best of all, is that you could be adding the coffee grounds directly to the substrate of your little plant, right after passing the coffee. Plus, by adding coffee grounds to the plant's soil, you'll also be making a powerful repellent to ward off insects.
