The website
The Não Me Disturbe platform was developed by Anatel so that users in Brazil can block any unwanted telemarketing calls. Thus, calls from banks, companies offering loans and Telecom can be blocked. The website was launched in 2019 by Anatel, but other companies such as Sky, Tim, Claro, Vivo and Algar helped to create it.
However, it is worth remembering that it is not every call that Do Not Disturb can block. Only companies that have registered on the site can have their calls blocked. Therefore, to request registration, simply access the website, click on “Request blocking”, inform the area code with the telephone number you wish to block, confirm the SMS and complete the blocking. The maximum period for blocking calls is 30 days, a period established for companies to comply with the request.
The registration record
With the launch of the platform, more people began to register on the site to block numbers. In the year 2021, for example, around 9.55 million people registered on the page.
The biggest complaints are calls that have DDD 11, from São Paulo. In the state alone, more than 4.6 million numbers have already been blocked. In addition, other states such as Paraná, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais complete the ranking of blockages.
Finally, one of the results of creating Não Me Disturbe was the drop in complaints about the telemarketing sector. Is there a number bothering you? Then block the site do not disturb me
