Kikat's story

The history of KitKat begins in 1935, when it was launched by the British company Rowntree's. Originally conceived as a candy bar that could be easily broken into individual pieces, KitKat quickly gained popularity for its convenience and delicious taste.

During World War II, chocolate became a part of British soldiers' rations, providing them with a moment of sweet comfort. Over the years, KitKat has expanded its lineup of flavors and formats, gaining fans around the world.

Today, it is known for its iconic red packaging and continues to be a snack crispy and appreciated in moments of pause. The KitKat brand continues to innovate and offer new varieties to satisfy the desires of chocolate lovers around the globe.

Technological innovation in the new KitKats

Among the brand's extensive line of products, the famous KitKat chocolate stands out, which won over fans around the world with its variety of flavors and formats. Now, the company is launching a new product model in Brazil.

Called KitKat Mini Moments, the launch, announced in March, brings new formats and flavors, including Caramel and Cookies&Cream. And the news does not stop there!

In order to manufacture the new chocolates, Nestlé is using a line of machines with innovative technology in Brazil, known as Machine Learning, aided by Artificial intelligence (IA). This form of production presents several innovative points, such as:

  • Smart sensors;
  • Greater flexibility;
  • Collaborative robots;
  • Innovative production technologies that ensure higher quality in the final product.

This advanced production line is installed at the Nestlé factory in Caçapava, in the state of São Paulo, being responsible for manufacturing not only KitKats in the country, but also in all of America Latin.

With this new approach, the company gained numerous advantages, especially in terms of factory optimization, making it even easier to innovation in the products offered, such as the wide variety of flavors of KitKat, which is always launching new products for its public faithful.
