Youtuber Kelsey the Korean decided to investigate how car rental services work. “boyfriend/girlfriend” and went undercover to find out what was really involved in working for a of these agencies. After providing information such as his height, age and photos, the agency secured two “job” opportunities.

Prior to the meetings, the service provided Kelsey with a series of specific rules that describe how the service works, with an emphasis on worker safety. Upon registering as one of the “girlfriends,” Kelsey was shocked that the service asked her to she provided false information about her age and height in order to match the customers' criteria. They said that she would need to talk about her sign, lie about her age and not know the real measure of her own height.
The youtuber was surprised to discover that she was offered the option of using a fake name, in order to guarantee her security. However, she also had the possibility to use her real name.
Additionally, the service took full responsibility for communication between her and customers, preventing Kelsey's phone number from being shared. The service is keen to emphasize that it is "strictly prohibited" for customers to request to exchange phone numbers after meeting.
The service provided Kelsey with additional advice to ensure her safety while on dates. They recommended that she avoid entering private vehicles or private spaces, suggesting that she remain in public places, surrounded by others.
