Times Higher Education annually publishes its ranking of the best universities in the world. Of 1,662 educational institutions, 70 are Brazilian. We've separated ten of them so you can take a look.
How do they choose?
To define the best colleges and make the list, the magazine specializing in education is based on 13 indicators. These requirements measure the performance of institutions in the following areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international recognition.
Based on these four variants, the University of oxford, from the United Kingdom, takes first place. Detail: this is the sixth consecutive year that she leads the Times Higher Education ranking.
The best universities in Brazil
According to this annual survey, the first place goes to the University of São Paulo (USP). Soon after, comes the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). In third place is the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG).
