According to this survey, Goiás stood out with the highest number of registered threats. The analyzed data covers a period of six months, referring to the first months of 2023.

Goiás had the highest number of registered threats
In Goiás, a total of 1,357 threats were registered at school units, according to data released by the PNE. Of that number, 217 people were heard in police inquiries, indicating the seriousness of these incidents.
Mato Grosso do Sul was just behind Goias, with 259 registered occurrences. A significant difference between the two states is the fact that, in Mato Grosso do Sul, there were 83 people injured in the reported attacks.
Another 138 people were identified and two perpetrators were apprehended by the police, demonstrating the seriousness of the events that occurred in that region.
In Goiás, since 2019, a security protocol has been implemented in schools, following guidelines established by the Military Police. The purpose of this protocol is to ensure the daily safety and proper functioning of educational institutions.
