More rain! Alert for more than 600 Brazilian cities

This Thursday, the 19th, the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) issued a risk alert derived from heavy rains in 603 cities in Brazil. The heavy rains will bring with them intense winds, with speeds of 60 to 100 kilometers per hour. In addition, the Institute informs that the rains will have an index between 30 and 60 mm/h or 50 and 100 mm/day, according to the estimate presented.

However, it is not just the winds and the high volume of water that are the reported risks, as the rains also come accompanied by flooding, electrical discharges and falling trees, which should affect regions such as the North and south of amazon, the center, the southwest and the Acre and Juruá valleys.
