Juliana Carvalho Lopes was a businesswoman who died, aged 45, after a long battle with bowel cancer. Before dying, Juliana underwent eight different surgical procedures in an attempt to cure herself of the disease. However, the condition became irreversible and she had to undergo palliative care.

In this context, Juliana thought that not only should she prepare for the worst, but all her relatives and friends also needed care. Therefore, in an altruistic attitude, she decided to write a farewell letter to her family and friends. In this case, Juliana asked that the letter be read only after her death.

In the emotional text, the businesswoman says that her time has come, but that she is fine with it and even thanks for the privilege of being able to prepare for death. In addition, she appreciates everyone's support and asks everyone to look at cancer in a different way. That's because, according to her, it is possible to be happy even with the diagnosis.

farewell

Since the discovery of cancer, Juliana has fought against the disease, but has also dedicated herself to living her life in the best possible way. According to her husband, Márcio Antunes, Juliana decided to live as long as she had, even knowing the possibility of an imminent death. Therefore, she did not cry and chose to make her last moments memorable.

The businesswoman even organized a party for 150 people, whose main objective was to say goodbye to everyone she loved. At the end of her life, her only request was that everyone would continue to remember her as the person she always was: happy and brave. Certainly, her legacy will continue as one who lived life to the fullest.
