The attempt to ban TikTok by some countries is not a new topic, but it took on different contours on Thursday, 23 February, when EU officials received an email with instructions to delete the app from their phones corporate.
In a press release, the executive body of the European Union states that the measure to ban TikTok aims to “increase electronic security”.
To this end, the Commission's Corporate Board of Directors determined the suspension of the use of TikTok on two fronts: in the corporate cell phones and personal devices registered with the Commission's cell phones and other mobile devices European.

In a note, TikTok claims that the European Union did not notify the app to inform about the suspension and argues that members of the Chinese government cannot access the data contained in the app.
