A bride managed to have her dream wedding without having to spend a lot of money. Quite the contrary, she saw a lucrative opportunity. With the help of family and friends, in addition to organizing an unforgettable ceremony, she even tricked some guests into covering the costs of their honeymoon.
According to one furious bridesmaid, the bride threw her “dream wedding” into the budget. That's because the reception had a money bar, which allowed the bride and groom to save completely and still have absurd profits.

Understand the case of profitable marriage
The bride's friend could hardly believe it when she discovered the shocking truth. After two months of the wedding, when meeting with her friend and the shameless bride, she heard a confession: they had lied to all the guests during the ceremony.
The godmother, surprised by the confession, recalled: “I saw photos of the honeymoon, everything looked perfect! I was excited for her and we talked about her. But during dinner, she told me something that completely stunned me… I was actually really mad!”
The bride confessed to having tricked everyone present by replacing the drinks with free stock provided by a relative who owns a local liquor store. All he needed was to find a bartender to serve the guests.
More money for the shameless couple
To get even more cash from her wedding drinks, the bride offered bartenders in attendance a 20% hourly tip to collect extra cash at the event bar.
With the amount collected being directed to the bride and groom's honeymoon trip fund, everyone was a winner. In the end, around £16,000 (US$20,000) was raised thanks to the initiative.
At the time of the bride's confession, the friend did the math and found that she had spent the equivalent of $100 on four or five drinks, including tips. Still, considering there were 200 guests at the party and many contributed extra cash to the bar, the strategy really worked.
The idea caused fury in the guests
But not everyone was happy with the idea. Many felt exploited and irritated when they realized they were funding the bride and groom's honeymoon without even knowing it before the party. One of the guests, outraged, even confronted the hostess of the idea during the event.
