Labor market stocks are being questioned this March 8th. In celebration of International Women's Day, the robot Gender Pay Gap App organized an exhibition at the twitter of British companies that value the international day and devalue the women who make up their teams.
Compared to men, in the same function, women in these companies receive lower wages.
The evidence is greater today, but the Twitter profile has been acting since 2021, also from the month of March.

Happy International Women's Day: robot exposes companies
The organization takes place through the hashtag: whoever tweets with the tag #IWD2023 will receive exposure to the wage gap between men and women in the company.
The robot's data belong to a public network compilation of men's and women's wages. When identifying words referring to the commemoration of the day, the algorithm performs a cross-referencing of data from the company that made the tweet and the one that has registered in the company.
The robot also makes the comparison with data that already existed since March 2017, published by the Ministry of Women in the UK. In that year, in particular, the British government had published a complaint about wage differences. Now, the robot not only exposes, but also highlights what has changed over the years.
From 2021 to the present day, the robot has exposed large companies, and public bodies have been exposed by profile: fire departments, universities, the legislative chamber and other public entities. In these places, female labor costs 15% less.
From private companies, such as the UK's World Vision Christian humanitarian community, a woman's salary is 16.7% less than men's. These institutions are certainly part of the category that pays less and were exposed by the profile.
On the other hand, there are places that pay higher amounts to women, as is the case of the Girlguiding group, offering 30.5% more per hour worked by women. The Kinoplex cinema chain (Odeon, in the United Kingdom), also known in Brazil, promotes equal pay between genders.
